Built in 1935 and seeing the likes of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tina Turner and many others, the Cozy Theatre was a cornerstone for Rock and Roll and Movies. live theatre and music the house that the king built .
It was operated by Jefferson Amusements in the early-1970’s. Since the early-1980’s it has operated as Gladewater Opry. When Jackson Foltyn purchased this treasure he wanted to see the community have something they can hang their hat on and be very proud of. With a long term vision, Foltyn has ideas for developers to be interested in building hotels and restaurants so that a resurgence of Gladewater would be the next step
